Tour Overview

Suggested Duration: 8 Days

Scotland brings together remarkable landscapes, centuries of history and distinctive traditions within a relatively compact country. This eight-day journey provides an opportunity to experience many of Scotland’s best-known places, from Edinburgh and Stirling to the Highlands, Loch Ness and the Isle of Skye.

Our suggested itinerary combines historic sites, dramatic scenery and time to explore, rather than simply travelling from one attraction to the next. Along the way, you can discover castles and battlefields, Highland landscapes, lochs and coastal scenery, with opportunities to explore Scotland at a relaxed pace.

Classic Scotland is also a useful starting point for a more personalised journey. The route can be adapted around your interests, whether you would like to spend more time exploring history and heritage, enjoy Scotland’s landscapes and wildlife, visit additional castles or include particular experiences along the way.

If you are looking for a shorter Highland journey, you may prefer our Scottish Highlands Tour, while our Isles of Mull & Skye Tour offers a longer focus on Scotland’s western islands.
